[TIP TUESDAY] Amenity Basket Edition

Amenity Baskets are a great way to enhance the restrooms at your reception venue. But what are the best things to include? What I see most often in successful Amenity baskets are:

• Mints

• Tide Stain Stick

• Mini First Aid Kit

• Safety Pins

• Bobby Pins

• Hair Spray

• Tissues

• Feminine Products

• Lotion

• Band Aids

• Body Spray

• and Nice Hand Towels

What are total flops? I recommend against:

• Roll On Deodorant- This may seem obvious but a Spray Deodorant is a great alternative and a little more hygienic

• Mouth Wash- This has the tendency to get a little messy so I always advise mints instead. I also recommend again chewing gum for the same reason

• An Enormous Basket- Space can be limited in the reception restrooms, so keep your amenity basket to approximately a 12"x12" tray for best presentation

• Smelly Bug Spray- Outdoor weddings can pose a bug problem and including a nicely scented bug spray or an organic alternative can be a much better option for your guests

What is most important to keep in mind is to make your guests feel welcome and well taken care of at the big day!
