There are many challenges and surprises that pop up on the weekend of a wedding. Some can be exciting-like red wine on a wedding dress- and some are very common-such as a run in your stockings. Needless to say, you'll need to think fast in order to sort out any potential snags on the day of the wedding. Keep safety pins on hand and follow these fabulous tips for wedding weekend ease!

Outdoor wedding? There is a fantastic company called Aromaflage that is a perfume and insect repelent. It's perfect for wooded ceremonies and barn venues!

Slippery dance shoes? Try rubbing the soles of your shoes with sand paper to scuff the bottom and make them dance floor ready.
Worried about day-of boating? Try not drinking or eating any dairy for 3 days before wedding. If you can't live without your cheese (like me!) mint tea is a great bloat kicking alternative.
Another great outdoor wedding hack, is to secure small magnetic weights to your veil to keep the wind from blowing your headpiece all over the place. To hide your unsightly magnet weights, use pieces of lace to cover it up!

Blemish on your wedding day? No worries! Dab some Listerine on that pimple and watch it shrink in minutes. The alcohol with shrink any unsightly swelling and the mouthwash helps the redness go away--win, win!
