{D.E.S.T.I.N.A.T.I.O.N} Australia

Where, outside of the United States, can you find Mountains, Dessert, Beaches AND Jungles? You guessed it-- Australia! My love affair with Aus began many years ago and has a very special place in my heart. I believe it was on my flight into Melbourne when I completely fell in love with the culture, people and land of Australia. As we oasted over the Blue Mountains I could see from my window dirt roads drizzled lazily over the wrinkled mountain terrain and I felt peaceful, almost at home, before even stepping foot onto soil.

After travelling for a solid 24 hours (and almost missing my flight entirely!) I was exhausted but within minutes of leaving the airport I was greated by friendly locals and kind souls. Throughout my time in Australia I found numerous places to have unbelievavble destination weddings! As I mentioned this country is filled with any type of terrain you can imagine!

One of my first favorites was the Royal Botanical Gardens of Melbourne, Victoria. With numerous spots for ceremonies and receptions, you just can't beat the rustic and organic feel in these gardens within the city limits.

If you are after something a little more rugged you only have to travel a short way to find yourself in a completely different world-- the Outback.

The outback of Australia was by far the most moving and special part of my travels. You can find everything from towns built underground in the veins of opal mining to hot springs and old ruins.

Ktat Juta & Uluru offer more populated and tourist locations which are great for your guests to settle into the area, see some of the most magnificent parts of the country and celebrate your wedding in style. Resorts such as Ayers Rock Resort are a fantastic way to have stress free venue planning from abroad.

If you are more of a beach lover, Australia has that to offer, and then some! There are a number of popular beaches on the east coast inclding the Coral Reef off

the coast from Airlie Beach, the waves of Bondi Beach and Carnes, however one of my favorite beach spots is on the other side of the country, north of Perth at the Ningaloo Reef. With sea turtles, the Indian Ocean and the best sunsets in Aus, it is a great place to have an amazing ceremony!

Anywhere you go in this beautiful country you will be sure to an adventure and a memorable destination wedding! You trulye can't beat the views from anywhere in the country and it is WELL worth the flight!
