So...you are well on your way to successful wedding planning and you are now ready to dive into wedding registries. It is overwhelming how many options you have on the "inter-webs" for wedding registries.

I have created a helpful guide and Pinterest page to help you navigate these waters and get a handle on how to handle your registries!

Step 1: Pick 2-3 Registry Sites

You will want to pick a variety of options for your wedding registry ranging in price points and quality to give you guests as many options as possible when selecting the perfect wedding gift registry. Many sure you don't accidentally put 4 fondue pots on your lists across your registries or you may very well end up with 4 fondue pots!

Step 2: Select Your Items

Many registries have help suggestion lists to make sure you cover your bases on exact items. It is important to do your research, register in store (if you can) and use the help of associates to make sure you are getting exactly what you are hoping for on your registry. Check out our Pinterest page, on this very topic, for helpful resources!

Step 3: Make Some Room

Many product based registries will begin shipping you purchased items as your guests buy them online. We highly recommend making your home or apartment ready to receive numerous shipments. If you are cramped for space, we recommend changing your shipping address to a relative's home that would be able to store these items for you.

Step 4: Write Your Thank You Notes

Many brides have the sudden realization after their bridal shower that they not only have to continue planning their wedding but need to write dozens of thank you notes. To save your sanity, we recommend writing a thank you note as you receive each gift to ensure you don't fall behind!

Good luck with your registries and as always follow Em Devaud Events on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (@emdevaud) and Pinterest for more fabulous wedding ideas!
